peer portrait review: sydney oldroyd
i really like this self portrait that sydney took. it's a different approach to a self-portrait and it's creative. the lighting is interesting because you can clearly see how the light is hitting her face, even though she isn't in focus. it shows a lot of depth as well. even though the outlet is in focus, sydney is still the focus of this photograph. it has a compelling point of view and gives a sense of mystery. if this photograph was to communicate something about sydney, it would say that she is shy or doesn't like to be the center of attention because she isn't in focus. i really love this photo.
