double exposure

1st photo: i used three photos to create this "triple" exposure. the background photo was a picture of the river outside my house. the photo was in black and white and has different highlights and shadows, so it made a good base for the triple exposure. then, i layered a photo of some buildings in providence. i used a dodge burn effect on the photo so it sort of faded into the first photo. then, i rotated and flipped the same photo and soft-burned it into the river part of the first photo. the last photo i used was the only color photo in the exposure. it was a picture of the same river, but during the sunset. i used a color burn effect to just have the color values show in the exposure.
2nd photo: i used a portrait of andrea as the background layer. then, i simply took a picture of the shadow from my curtains and used the overlay effect over andrea's face.
3rd photo: i took a picture of a flower from the pierce beach scavenger hunt and used it as the background layer. then, i took a picture of the sunset over providence and used the color value effect over it.
